World Jewish Congress’ Leader Assisting Foundation

Menachem Rosensaft, the World Jewish Congress’ head attorney who spoke at the recent Board of Rabbis’ Yom HaShoah ceremony, also touched base with Foundation CEO Jackie Jacobs about a Columbus Jewish Foundation bequest provision earmarked for a memorial at a concentration camp in Poland, offering his assistance if needed.  The World Jewish Congress has strongly objected to a proposed new Polish law which would criminalize suggestions that Poland was responsible for Nazis crimes, calling it “an act of historical obfuscation and an attack on democracy.”
