What Does “Too Much” Mean?

How much is too much when it comes to an inheritance?  According to a Merrill Lynch survey of very high net worth individuals, $63 million out of $100 million is perceived as too much to give one child…that amount of pocket change might hinder development of the recipient’s full potential.  But $26 million is too little.   The survey also affirms that blood is thicker than water;  just 4 percent of the super-wealthy put philanthropy first.
