To Life! Columbus Blood Drive
The American Red Cross gushed when local businessman Richard Lieberman established a Columbus Jewish Foundation endowment in 1994 to underwrite all Jewish Donors’ Blood Council operations: ”We believe this is the nation’s only endowment of its kind….we could not find any other region that has an endowed blood donor group like this.” Now known as the To Life! Columbus, the blood donors’ group is still active, thanks to annual support from Lieberman’s lifesaving fund.
