The Six Day War at Beth Tikvah

It took Israel only six days in 1967 to immobilize the combined airpower of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria.  The lightning war’s legacy still shapes the intractable search for Mideast peace. On May 9 at 7:30 PM,  Georgetown University’s Professor Ralph Nurnberger will address the roots of the war and little-known events leading up to it, including the Soviet Union’s misleading information; a secret mission to Washington; and,  pre-war maneuvers by Egyptian, Syrian, Jordanian, and Israeli leaders.  For information, contact Justin Shaw at 614-559-3205 or jshaw@tcjf.org.
