The Diary of Anne Frank at Curtain Players
The Diary of Anne Frank runs through November 6th at Curtain Players in Galena, Ohio. The intimate and comfortable 78-seat theater is situated in a charming old country church on Harlem Road. The audience will be transported back to Amsterdam in 1942, and will feel the pain and frustration of the Frank family and others as they hide from the Nazis in a secret annex. Cheryl Jacobs, wife of Foundation CEO Jackie Jacobs, served as an advisor to the production. ”Reading and Writing with Anne Frank,” an associated exhibit for students; at the Westerville Public Library is made possible, in part, by the Penny Davenport & Dorothy Fenburr, Charlotte & Ben Kahn, and Joan Wallick Jewish Arts Funds of the Foundation.
