Spring Grants

Grant committee liaisons met last week to discuss the scholarship needs of Jewish families hoping to enroll their children in JCC Early Childhood programs.  Jewish Family Services asked for help covering the costs of short-term therapy for Jews without mental health insurance or inadequate coverage.  The Social Justice Committee discussed opportunities to sensitize law enforcement officers and legislators on vital issues concerning Jewish community welfare and security issues, anti-Semitism, lessons learned from the Holocaust, and Israel advocacy.  Their findings and recommendations will be submitted to the Foundation Board in mid-June.
