Ever since I was about 10 years old, I remember my father always saying, “Remember the poor.” When I was 16, I went with my sister & her husband to California, and our father paid our way, but he told us to give 10% of our money away to the poor.

When first married, Harold and I went to Vienna and we met the first Russian immigrants on their way to Israel. Again, Harold and I remembered to help others.
