Refugee Kids

A screening of Refugee Kids, a documentary about a New York summer program for kids fleeing the world’s hot spots, will be shown at 6:30 PM on April 26 at the Gateway Film Center, 1550 N. High Street. The film is sponsored by the Foundation’s Jack Roth Mitzvah Fund for the benefit of US Together, which is Ohio’s largest refugee resettlement organization.  The agency is severely impacted by the President’s controversial immigration executive orders.  The program featured in the film is run by the International Rescue Committee, which was founded by Albert Einstein to rescue Jewish refugees.  Click for preview.
