Poetry Night to Feature Local Jewish Poets

Gramercy Books in Bexley is hosting a celebration of Jewish poetry on June 22, featuring local poets Mimi Chenfeld, Charlene Fix, Michael J. Rosen, and Hannah Stephenson. Chenfeld’s children’s novel, The House at Twelve Rose Street, was adapted for an ABC television special. Charlene Fix is the author of four poetry collections and is Emeritus Professor of English at CCAD.  Michael J. Rosen is a poet, writer, illustrator, and editor of 135 books, including Elijah’s Angel, a collaboration with artist Aminah Robinson that won the National Jewish Book Award. Hannah Stephenson’s writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, and Poetry Daily. The event will be held June 22, 7:00 PM at the Gramercy, 2424 E. Main Street.
