Photographer Captures Richness of Local Synagogue Architecture

Louis Davidson, the man who photographs the world’s most beautiful synagogues, was in town this week to add four local synagogues to his rich photo archives.  “I’m 73, and while I have the mobility and the ability, I want to concentrate on getting synagogues photographed…it’s my mission,” he said.  The Foundation helped plan his itinerary and hopes that Davidson’s remarkable traveling exhibit can be brought to Central Ohio before year-end.  Check out what might be in store for the community here  and here. Louis Davidson’s photos include The Black Synagogue in Augsburg, Germany.
