From my parents, Rose and Samuel Gitman, and my brother Norman Gitman who died when I was eleven, I learned how important it is to always share and care for others. It is my pleasure to make this gift to the Columbus Jewish community, in hopes that I will leave some footprints in the sands of time for future generations and that this community will always be all that it can be.
Time and space can only show
Through past endeavors we all can grow.
Setting goals to reach new heights,
For by example we teach what’s right.
Caring for our fellow man,
Doing the very best we can,
Leads us to another day,
Splendid! Giving! Loving!
