Mitzvahs at Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Lindsay Schottenstein and Dr. Bruce Meyer met at the Foundation last week to discuss rapidly coalescing plans for the Columbus Bikur Cholim Society to offer hospitality and kosher accommodations at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  Bikur Cholim, “visiting the sick” in Hebrew, is one of the supreme acts of kindness in the Jewish tradition.  The Bikur Cholim Fund is housed at the Columbus Jewish Foundation.
