Ma’agalim (מַעְגָלִים, literally “Paths”)
The Israeli army is Israel’s nation builder – the pathway for building national identity and unity. But 8,000 troubled Israeli 11th and 12th graders are ineligible for IDF service because of poverty, depression, drugs, alcoholism, and violence. Ma’agalim helps them find paths to self-improvement, earning recognition from The Jerusalem Post as Israel’s “2017 Organization of the Year” and a meaningful grant in 2014 from the Foundation’s Overseas Needs Committee. A Ma’agalim delegation visited Congregation Torat Emet this week to build and strengthen local partnerships. The Foundation has high praise for Ma’agalim.
