Lessons of the Holocaust

Foundation CEO Jackie Jacobs and CFO Tammy Fitzpatrick met with 160 fifth and sixth graders in Sugar Grove, Ohio.  Teacher Mary Hackworth took it upon herself to develop her own (excellent) Holocaust lesson plans after realizing that the children had no prior knowledge or awareness of the subject.  The students proudly took their guests on a tour of the “Courage Museum” that they created, and were fascinated to hear the fate of the Jacobs family’s fate during Hitler’s War Against the Jews.
