Legal & Tax Group Ends Year With Ethical Wills and Snowbird Rules

Financial planner Mark Coffee of Summit Financial Strategies led the Foundation Legal & Tax Advisory Committee’s fourth presentation of the year with a workshop on ethical wills.  Jewish community lobbyist Howard Beigelman, Executive Director of Ohio Jewish Communities, followed with an update on a new statute that determines whether individuals live in Ohio for state income tax purposes. The legislation was signed into law by the Governor shortly after the meeting.  Chaired by estate planning attorney Harlan Louis, the Legal & Tax Advisory Committee is comprised of legal, accounting, insurance, and financial planning professionals.  It will reconvene in the Fall after a summertime hiatus.
