Learning About the Holocaust
Gahanna Lincoln students are grappling with the enormity of the Holocaust. Their paper clips project was profiled last October in The Columbus Dispatch click here. Teacher Jennifer Candor and parent Steve Bush informed the Foundation in early January that the diverse student body now has a new-found awareness of “horrible things that were never discussed until now,” and collected hundreds of thousands of paper clips. Bush, a well-known local metal artist, will create a commemorative sculpture and encouraged the students to tweet their feelings about injustice to inspire his final design.
