Kosher Baker’s Bequest Helps Local Charities

The Foundation’s Moritz Mayer Endowment has generated $19,000 this year, which will be shared by Tifereth Israel, Agudas Achim, Columbus Torah Academy, and Wexner Heritage Village.  Mayer and his sister fled to America to escape the Nazis. Unable to find work in New York where he could observe the Sabbath, they came to Columbus, where he worked in a bakery.  Contact the Foundation at 614-338-2365 for information on ways that you can provide for your favored agencies and synagogues through your estate plan.
