Kasich’s Relationship With Ohio Jews Goes Way Back

A March 10 article in the Jewish Insider that was picked up by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency cites presidential candidate John Kasich’s deep connections with Ohio Jewry, including familiar names at the Foundation such as Melton, Schottenstein, Wexner, Zacks, and Kastan.  One of the Foundation’s largest testamentary benefactors, the late Congressman Bob Shamansky, was also mentioned.  Kasich soundly defeated Shamansky in his 1982 re-election bid in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District.
