Jewish Security is Top Youth Priority

The 26-member Columbus Jewish Youth Foundation met on November 19 to determine its Spring grant guidelines.  As noted by board member Ethan Davis, “Recent events in the news media have put dangerous anti-Semitic groups in the spotlight, in the US and abroad.”  As concerned Jews, the teen board will entertain funding proposals related to Israel awareness, anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, the BDS movement, hate speech, and related issues.  This year’s CJYF members are Jack Madison, Daniel Griffaton, Sam Schulman, Danny Davis, Drew Kauffman, Matthew Cohn, Jami Garfinkel, Sarah George, Lauren Ehrlich, Ethan Davis, Alison Bernstein, Maya Cohen, Sari Applefeld, Sarah Colvin.
