Jewish Arts Grants Paint the Town

The Columbus Jewish Foundation will star as Underwriter of the JCC’s cultural arts programs, thanks to funding from the Lenore Schottenstein and Community Jewish Arts Fund.  The Foundation Board approved a $30,000 grant for Gallery Players, Jewish Bookfair and the Jewish Film Festival when it met in mid June.  Funding for the inaugural Jewish Arts & Music Festival on September 18 also was approved. The Festival is sponsored by the newly-formed Columbus Jewish Arts Center, headed by well-known local violinist Arkadiy Gips.
