Homeland Security Personnel Return From Training In Israel
Two key officers from the Franklin County Office of Homeland Security and the Columbus Police Department’s Homeland Security Section are back from Israel with advanced training under their belts — thanks to Foundation funding. They received state-of-the-art tactical and cognitive security training on critical infrastructure protection; school and campus security; how to secure business, non-profit, and government installations; counter-terrorism and intelligence. “The Israeli people get it when it comes to security,” said one of the returning officers. Funding was provided through the Foundation’s Understanding Jewish Concerns Fund.
