Helping Potential Drop Outs in Israel

There’s a flip side to Israel’s success story as the great start up nation.  Its drop-outs and at-risk kids number in the tens of thousands.  A grant to Ma’agalim from the Foundation’s Overseas Needs Endowment helps the Israeli youth organization serve 7,000 at-risk youth at activity centers throughout the country. Among its activities are environmental projects and green programs that build self-confidence and develop leadership skills.  Said one student after a parental visit: “This is the first time my father ever has been proud of me.”
