Harold and Lillian: A Hollywood Love Story
Anne Bancroft’s legs in The Graduate are one of cinema’s most iconic images. Movie fans know the work of Harold and Lillian Michelson even if they don’t recognize their names. Working largely uncredited in the Hollywood system, the storyboard artists left an indelible mark on classics by Hitchock, Spielberg, Kubrick and Mel Brooks. Sponsored by the Foundation’s Leventhal Fund as part of the Jewish Film Festival on November 16 at the JCC at 7:00 PM, the film will be introduced by Hollywood screenwriter Jim Burnstein (Renaissance Man).
