Furniture Retailer Glick Endowed $500,000

The late Columbus business leader Robert A. Glick (1916-1997) donated nearly a half million dollars to the Columbus Jewish Foundation for endowments that benefit eight local charities, including three that he chaired-Temple Israel, the Columbus Jewish Historical Society, and Wexner Heritage Village.   Another beneficiary is the Bexley Education Foundation’s Glick Family Educator of the Year Award.  Glick was the first president of the Home Furnishings Council of America and chaired the 1967 All Furniture Industry Conference in Washington, D.C.
