Four years + $25K + 241 Volunteers = 876 Healthier Adults

The USA has one of the highest incidences of people diagnosed with mental health problems in the developed world.  The Foundation’s Social Justice Endowment and Community Grants Fund have provided $25,000 since 2011 for Mental Health America of Franklin County’s Pro Bono Counseling  Program through which 241 professional volunteers from throughout the county have helped 876 adults, individuals and families to date.  Per the agency’s retiring director,  Laura Moskow Sigal: “We are very appreciative…without this funding, our Pro Bono Counseling Program would not be as strong a program as it is right now.”
