Foundation’s 2017-18 Board Elected

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Jim Bowman has been elected to serve as its 27th Board president.  Bowman is Senior Vice President of Investments and the Managing Director of the Raymond James office in Bexley.  He has more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a two-time winner of the Financial Times top 400 advisors in the United States.

Jim has a deep history in community service, having served as Board Chairman for five non-profit organizations, including Jewish Family Services and Wexner Heritage Village, as well as serving on many other boards and committees. He was tapped for the distinguished Business First “40 Under 40″ club for those who exemplify excellence in their work and community. Jim lives in Bexley with his wife Tracey and their three children. Jim is succeeding Jeff Meyer, who served as Foundation president with distinction for the past two years. His term will begin this summer.

Joining Bowman as Foundation officers are Vice President Harlan Robins, Treasurer Bill Byers, and Secretary Mike Schlonsky.   Newly-elected trustees are:  Joshua Barkan, Dr. Michael Hallet, Randy Hansell, Steve Heiser, Ira Kane, Inna Kinney, Stacy Levin, Jody Scheiman, Lee Smith, Nevada Smith, Audrey Tuckerman and Dr. Phil Weinerman.
