Foundation Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Philanthropy
Since 1999, all Jewish teens in Columbus have been encouraged to open a B’nai Tzedek Fund at the Columbus Jewish Foundation. Their $125 opening balance immediately grows to $500, thanks to matching gifts from the Mitzi and Henry Saeman family and the Foundation. The program is now the largest in the country. Mrs. Saeman has maintained her enthusiastic support for the past 19 years, as has the Foundation. This week, the Foundation Board unanimously reaffirmed its commitment to the B’nai Tzedek program by means of a standing resolution of continuing support for this outstanding program.
