Financial Security to Seniors

Doris Dreifus was the Foundation’s oldest donor when she established a Charitable Gift Annuity in 1998.  Upon her demise at the age of 105, the proceeds were used to establish a charitable endowment for the benefit of one of her favorite charities – the Columbus Jewish Foundation!  A charitable gift annuity is a way to make a gift to your favorite charity, and still receive income for yourself or others. By way of example, an 85-year old can receive a 7.8% lifetime income stream, an 86-year old 8%,  87-year old 8.2%, 88-year old 8.4%,  89-year old 8.7%, and a 90-year old 9%.
