Feibel, Shenkar and Bernstein Take Home the Prizes

It’s been ten years since the David & Irene Cole Essay Contest first challenged graduating high school seniors to think about their Jewish lifestyle in college.  Addy Feibel’s essay took home first prize.  The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: her grandparents and great-grandparents were community leaders.  Rakefet Shenkar earned 2nd place honors and Rachel Bernstein won 3rd place.  Feibel is off to Yale, Shenkar to OSU and Bernstein to Michigan. The contest is sponsored by the Marilyn and Stuart Cole Fund of the Foundation in memory of Stuart’s parents.
