Congress Makes Israel a Strategic Partner

Lawmakers passed the U.S.- Israel Strategic Partnership Act of 2014 to expand cooperation in defense and security, energy, research and development, business, agriculture, water management and academics. It also expands the U.S. weapons stockpile in the event of an emergency, as it did this summer in Gaza.

Several of our B’nai Tzedek Teens traveled to Washington earlier this year to support this legislation. We thank them and our Columbus AIPAC Teen and Adult Delegations — who through the Federation and other organizations continue to be involved in U.S.- Israel affairs.
