Columbus Jewish Day School Reaches New Chai

In November 1996, a delegation of Jewish education advocates met with the Foundation grants committee seeking support for a second Jewish day school in Columbus.  Convinced that Jewish day schools are a panacea to assimilation, the Foundation provided a $75,000 seed grant. Eighteen years after CJDS first opened its doors, the school will celebrate the accomplishments of its earliest attendees on Sunday at the beautiful CJDS facility in New Albany.
