Cleveland Jewish News Expands to Columbus Market
The Cleveland Jewish News will expand its footprint to include central Ohio with the creation of the Columbus Jewish News. The announcement about the all-new biweekly was made at the Foundation’s annual meeting. According to Ohio Jewish Chronicle publisher Steve Pinsky, the OJC will cease publication at the end of July. The first edition of the new Columbus Jewish News will appear in print and online on August 9. According to Pinsky, the new publication assures that a vibrant Jewish community publication will continue serving central Ohio. Pinsky will join the new publication as an advertising consultant.
According to Cleveland Jewish Publication Company’s president Kevin S. Adelstein, “We are proud of the role we play as an independent, community-owned news organization….and we look forward to interacting with, learning about, and covering central Ohio’s dynamic Jewish community.”
