Building the Dream of Home Ownership

The Columbus Jewish Foundation made its first gift to Habitat for Humanity in 1993 — for a house called “Habitat Shalom” in honor of builder and Foundation board member Jack Wallick.  Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio, which to date has brought the dream of home ownership to more than 400 families in need, now is in the final stages of an initiative to raise $4.5 million by June 30 to increase service from 30 to more than 100 families annually.  Columbia Gas will match up to $125,000 for every dollar raised by June 30.  Click here to find out more about Habitat MidOhio and the matching gift opportunity.
