My great-grandparents and grandparents escaped the Pogroms of Russia in the late 1880s and emigrated to the United States. The American dream was their goal for their children. However, Torah learning, Jewish education, and prayer and tzeddakah were always our way of life, even during the Depression years.

With much love and gratitude to my parents, I am thankful that my children have learned to pass this legacy on to their children.
