BBYO Team Checks in at Foundation

With 90 years of identity, enrichment, and leadership development activities under its belt, BBYO is strong and revitalized, with 166 Columbus local and 600 tri-state region members. Local director Adam Polacek, joined by his Midwest and Regional directors, headed off to the Foundation yesterday to debrief on BBYO’s resurgence.  They also reported on early April’s J-Serve Global Youth Service day.  A home run with 13,000 Jewish teen participants worldwide; 130 local teens at the JCC bagged lunches for the Community Shelter Board, assembled Kosher Shabbat kits for U.S. troops, and did projects for Wexner Heritage Village and the Ronald McDonald House.  Hats off to our youth groups who made it all happen, including BBYO, NFTY, and USY.
