Alan Wasserstrom

Both my Wasserstrom and Krakoff grandparents came to this community in the 1890’s and they began what was to be a continuous pattern in my family of Jewish commitment and involvement. My parents modeled Jewish values, including “tzedakah” and about the blessings and responsibilities of being a Jew.

I believe that the most meaningful way I can both honor my parents and grandparents and set an example for my own children is to help provide for the future of our Columbus Jewish community.

It is my hope that many years from now, when future generations are reading this page, they will be glad for their Judaism and proud to be carrying on the traditions that inspired me.
